Spring 2022 Friday Women's Division (Women's)

Details here updated March 7, 2022: Join us on Friday evenings for a league open to all women-matching players this spring at Olson Park. This league will be a 5 v 5 league! Directors reserve the right to change the league play format based on the number of registrants.

This league will have a slightly different format than past leagues in an attempt to address the needs indicated by our community:

• Coached/intro session: Completely new to the game? Or maybe looking to learn more about rules, strategy, and gameplay in a more instructional environment? Join us for our first ever intro-to-league instructional clinic on Sunday, March 20 on the Father Gabriel Richard High School turf fields, coached by TBD. Expect some instruction followed by a practice game. For now, the plan is that the non-scrimmage parts of the event will be combined with the Sunday league players. Time: TBD, but somewhere in the range of 12 PM - 4 PM.
• Weeks 1 - 6 of league: Normal 5v5 FMP-only gameplay.

If you have recruited a "new" player to this league (see announcement), you can add your friend's name as a note to your PayPal payment and/or email A2U directors and let us know whom you referred so we can reimburse you after registrations close. You can receive $5 per new player to sign up, up to the full $35 registration fee.

If you are a "new" player signing up, indicate this in the note when paying by PayPal or email A2U directors and let us know so we can later reimburse you after registrations close for $5 off your first league with us!

Note (as of March 7): The final cost of the league is still undetermined. It will not be more than $40. Refunds will be issued soon after the final cost is known.

If you would like to be a captain, please register ASAP so that the captain selection committee has ample time to choose pairings. The mandatory captains meeting will be held virtually at 6:30pm on March 28th.
