Ann Arbor Ultimate is proud to present Winter League 2023. There are 3 divisions.

Wednesday Division (Co-Rec)

This division follows our Co-Rec format. The team at the east end-zone (farthest from the entry) will set the gender-match ratio and the other team will be required to match accordingly. Captains will discuss the preferred gender-matching ratios before the start of each game based on attendance and preferences of woman-matching players.

To encourage a healthy gender ratio, all woman-matching players that sign up through end of day on December 23, 2022 will be accepted into the division, regardless of waitlist status. The player cap will still be enforced which may result in some man-matching players being waitlisted who were not previously. If that should occur, those players will be contacted. It is advisable to sign up as early as you can regardless of your gender matching preference. If you have questions, please contact the league directors.

Friday Mixed Division (Mixed)

This division follows our Cap-and-Fill format. After registration closes, this division will be split into two; one for mixed play (with 5-7 of each matching preference per team) and one for open play. Our goal is to accommodate as many players as possible while organizing a format that allows all players to participate to their full desire. For more information on this process, check the Detailed Info section.

The team at the east end-zone (farthest from the entry) will set the gender-match ratio and the other team will be required to match accordingly. Captains will discuss the preferred gender-matching ratios before the start of each game based on attendance and preferences of woman-matching players.

This year, we are building a 10-minute buffer into our schedule. Games will still be played to a 1.5-hour time cap, but we are allowing for 10 minutes for games to wrap, and the next game to take the field, warm-up, and get their huddles in. More detail will follow in the welcome email for players.
