Summer 2024 Wednesday Middle School (Co-Rec)

This league is open to anyone ages 11-15 who is excited about ultimate frisbee, whether you are a veteran player or you have never thrown a disc before! All are welcome.

Practices will be on Wednesdays, 6:00pm–7:30pm, June 26 through Aug 14, 2024 at the Slauson Middle School athletic fields (the “Bear Bowl”), located at 1019 W. Washington St; the fields are accessible from Crest Ave, between Washington and Liberty. See the Detailed Information for information about practice cancellation policy. Practice July 17 is tentative depending on availability of a coaching staff.

All practices will start with 20-30 mins of skill development and teambuilding, followed by time for scrimmaging (plus lots of water breaks to stay cool and hydrated). Adult coaches (all with clear background checks on file with Ann Arbor Ultimate) will oversee practices to ensure inclusivity and good spirit of the game, teach game fundamentals, and make sure practices are always fun.
