Captain's Compensation & Updated "Willingness to Captain"

Captains will receive $30 back ($5/game) from the $45 registration fee for their volunteer service this league!

Note that we have slightly modified our "willingness to captain" response and interest scale in the registration process:

  • 0 – I do not want to captain
  • 1 – I will captain. (You should expect to be asked to captain.)
  • 2 – I really want to captain this division. (You will be among the top considerations for captaining.)

Not sure that you could be a captain? We hope you'll reconsider! Check out our new FAQ section on Captaining for an overview.

Discounts for new players and for recruiting new players!

For this league we are continuing to pilot our discounts for completely new a2u players, and for any current a2u players who help recruit new players...because, hey, we love our community and we want to see more of our friends play with us!

For current a2u members, receive $5 back from your registration fee for every new a2u player you bring to the league (up to full registration cost!).

For new a2u players, if you have never played with us before, send us an email at directors@annarborultimate.org and let us know to receive $5 back from your registration cost!

We plan to process reimbursements at the end of the league, but if you need it done earlier for any reason please don't hesitate to let us know.

Continuing COVID Safety Precautions

*Late Fall league will NOT require masks unless any major changes are made by national, state, and/or local health agencies to recommend mask policies. We will continue monitoring their guidelines and local COVID rates, especially as new variants make their way around the country. However, we still STRONGLY encourage people who are not or cannot be vaccinated to consider wearing a mask if you are able.
